Faciela Energy has established two operating companies, with more to come in the future. Our first operations are:

Faciela Farms is growing into a world-leading vegetable oils producer focusing on jatropha and other species grown on our own farms, as well as production contracted with large agribusinesses and local cooperative farms. Faciela Farms establishes partnerships with established agricultural concerns to obtain expertise and knowledge of local growing conditions. Faciela Farms produces low cost vegetable oils, as well as related by-products such as glycerin and oil cake. A main feedstock is jatropha, although other plants, such as rape and palm are utilized where conditions are optimal.

Faciela Fuels is a leading biodiesel refiner and marketer with production facilities developed in joint ventures with local partners in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and South America. Faciela Fuels finds the best vegetable oil feed-stocks on the market, including waste vegetable oils and those from Faciela Farms’ production, refines them with advanced technology, and sells them to fuel distributors. The primary objective is to maximize returns through production, marketing and sales of refined fuel products. Faciela Fuels establishes off-take contracts to assure sales at market prices, and will trade in commodity markets as the biofuels industry grows. Where carbon credits are obtainable, Faciela Fuels will trade and capture those revenues.
